30 weeks! Only 10 more to go!
Pregnancy has gone like this…exhausted 1st trimester, energy 2nd trimester, and tired 3rd trimester. With about two and a half months to go, I’m ready to start taking naps again. Either that or go to bed really early. Neither of which has been on my list of things to change, but every day at lunch I wish I had the afternoon to sleep. I’m stuck in a middle ground where I want to get things done while I have the chance since I don’t know what the next ten weeks will bring.
I’ve made it this far with being able to “sleep” through the night. Excluding waking up each time I need to turn over or waking up on my back, I’ve been blessed with the ability of not getting up to use the bathroom during sleepy time. Until last week, that is. I’ve officially gotten up more times than I’ve slept all night the last week. And, it’s pretty close to clockwork. 3:26 am. I wonder if this is an indication of what time Baby Leger will be awakening in the middle of the night… It’s an odd time. It kind of feels like morning and doesn’t feel like the middle of the night. This morning, after my restroom break, Baby Leger showed his pleasure by doing some backflips and probably practicing his slap shot (hockey reference). Thankful he was able to do his thing and I did my thing: went back to sleep. He does a lot of movin’ when I go to bed, but it doesn’t keep me awake. I like to think of it as a give and take. I stretch out and give him the room and he lets me sleep.
