Days gone by

Sometimes I blink and days have gone by. Does that ever happen to you? It should be a good thing because that means I get so busy living all.the.moments. It always happens when I least expect it. I wake up and realize that time went by really fast. I’m not sure what makes this happen, but most of the time it makes me sad.

Last week I was in a good routine and the days felt long. Long in a good way. Then, all of a sudden it’s the following week and a Tuesday. Not only is it a Tuesday, but it’s February! Eek! The days went by too fast. Too fast in a bad way. I want to enjoy every day and live it to the fullest. When I blink and it’s a new week {or month}, I’m fearful that I’ll blink and both of my babies will be grown up.

As much as I love writing here, I may disappear from time-to-time and that’s ok. It means that life outside of this world is getting a little full and I’m trying to keep a balance on the other side.

  1. I feel the same way as you! At first I thought it was the pregnancy and post partum hormones but I still cry when I think about this or see anything about children growing up on television. It is a bittersweet thing. Savor all the good, momma! šŸ™‚

    1. With Maximus, I had a really hard time with him growing up. Then one day I realized that I actually loved every phase he was in. But, I’m still feeling a little sad that Quinten is already two months old and passed the newborn phase.
